What Mendably is — and is not
Mendably provides AI-generated suggestions to help people find common ground and build a shared plan. It is not professional advice. The Guide is not a medical, psychological, legal, or other licensed professional, and its responses are not a substitute for professional judgment. For safety concerns, possible abuse, medical, legal, or clinical issues, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
Eligibility
You must be an adult (or the age of majority where you live) to use Mendably. The app is not intended for use by children.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
Acceptable use
- Only enter information you have the right to share. When you invite others or describe other people, do so respectfully and lawfully.
- Don't use the app to harass, abuse, or harm others, to break the law, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
- Don't misuse the Guide to generate harmful, unlawful, or abusive content.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you provide. You grant us a limited license to process and store it solely to operate the service for you and the people you share plans with (including sending it to our AI provider to generate responses).
AI-generated content
AI responses may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for evaluating whether any suggestion is appropriate for your situation before acting on it.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mendably is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on the app's suggestions.
Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
